Activities of daily living include dressing, grooming, as well as assistance with self-medication, transfers, and mobility. Assistance is also available for more complex care coordination or support with health needs. All residents, prior to move in and at any time during their residency, can have an assessment by the residential care supervisor to determine their service needs and preferences. An individualized service plan is then prepared and discussed with the resident. Services will begin immediately upon acceptance of the service plan. Service points may increase or decrease as a resident's needs and preferences change. By using an individualized plan based on service points, the resident only pays for those specific services being provided.
