From your first step onto the mosaic tile entry, to long after completing the move into a spacious apartment home at The Stratford, you will be pleased with the welcoming atmosphere and caring service. We offer three monthly rental options: Stratford Court for independent living. Stratford Court for assisted living Stratford Square for memory impairment and dementia care. Relieved of housekeeping, home repair and seasonable responsibilities for outside maintenance, residents can enjoy a variety of stimulating activities that provide social, educational, religious and recreational opportunities. Choices include community outings, musical programs, games, cards, gardening, painting, sewing, and much more. The Pinnacle of Senior Living All-day dining in the Victorian Dining Room allows residents to dine on their schedule, not ours, leaving more time and flexibility to enjoy the many activities and amenities offered at The Stratford. Community amenities include Cut-N-Curls, the beauty/barber shop, the library/computer center, activity rooms, private chapel, and, of course, the Almost Jack LaLane Fitness Center. Through an innovative relationship with a licensed health care company, physical, occupational and speech therapy can be scheduled on-site for Stratford residents. Family celebrations and private gatherings with friends are easily accommodated in either The Stratford's cheery Country Kitchen, our welcoming Bistro, or the restaurant-style dining room. For a special treat, visitors may enjoy a snack in the Poodle Skirt, 1950s style ice cream shoppe, or shoot pool in the Billiards Room. In the evening, residents join friends for moving screenings in the Rhett & Scarlett Theater or simply sit and listen to the music being played on the grand piano in the downstairs lounge. Passages At The Stratford The Stratford is excited to announce our innovative new program that we call Passages. This program was developed specifically for those residents with varying forms of dementia, but who are not ready for a secured, dementia area. These residents are helped fill their days with appropriate activities, with others traveling the same journey, with similar struggles. The Passages Coordinator keeps the daily structure in a small group, while successfully integrating the residents into larger community activities.
