The Martin-Boyd Christian Home is a non-profit assisted living facility founded and operated by members of the area churches of Christ. In the spirit of Jesus our Lord, the Martin-Boyd Christian Home seeks to enable older adults live to their fullest by providing a safe, secure environment and by representing Christ and the Church in our services to them. Statement of Philosophy Our ministry endeavors to provide a Christian environment for the residents who come to be served, the staff who serve diligently, and the families who entrust their loved ones to our care. Christian ideals are reflected through every service provided at the home regardless of race, creed, or color. We believe that each person we serve can still contribute to God's purpose and it is our goal to help each person maintain the highest level of functioning and to insure that dignity and respect are preserved. Basic Service Plan * Three meals per day served in dining room * Weekly housekeeping and laundry * Staff on duty 24 hours a day * Maintenance * Cable and tv hook-ups * Fire alarm and sprinklers * Area available for private functions * All utilities furnished except tv and cable Assisted Service Plan * All basic care services * Assistance with bathing * Assistance with medicine * Special care service plan * All basic and assisted services * Iindividualized care plans * Incontinence management * Assistance with dressing * Assistance with oral hygiene * Assistance with medication * Nurse on duty or on call * Monitored care for those with dementia * Three meals a day plus snacks served in area. * Secured activities area * Housekeeping and laundry as needed
